Dubbing

Dubbing is the practice of replacing the dialogue tracks from the original audio with a new track in the desired language, where the talent of our translators, adapters, actors, directors, technicians and audio engineers is combined.

Audio adaptation can be performed thru lip sync or voice-over.

Dubbing

    • Lip sync: The synchronization of lip movement with the original voice. This way, translation is adapted, always true to the script so the syllables synchronize in the best possible way and, therefore, simulate the speech or singing in the original language, which allows us to perceive interventions in a more natural fashion.
  • Voice-Over: Production technique known as voice over. It is usually used in audiovisual content where there is a person giving a testimonial narrative. Once the testimonial starts, the volume of the original voice is lowered to allow the actor’s voice in the local language to overlap it as a type of dubbing, but neither lip synchronization, nor the complete absence of the original character’s voice is necessary.
